5 Melania Trump Memes we loved

Melania Trump speech plagiarism

We were all struck by Melania Trumps speech that she delivered on Monday night during the Republican National Conversional in Cleveland on the 18th of July. It has been confirmed that her speech was prominently similar to Michel Obama’s speech which she delivered back in 2008. Was this plagiarism? People think it was as a vast number of them took it to twitter to express their feelings towards it.

And at least one twitter user, found humour in all of this…

1

Trumps responded on wife’s speech and said it is “absolutely incredible” he also concluded his tweet by saying he was “VERY PROUD”…Proud really of plagiarism, we don’t know.

2

Ofcourse the twitter community would not let this down without a tweet or two trolling Melania.

and here’s our Top 5 hilarious memes that cracked a rib:

#9 Mandela minutes

We all know that on the 18th of July we celebrate Tata Madiba’s birthday and our fellow celebrities always take it down to our communities with their #67 minutes in honor of him. We are quite impressed on what they did this year and here’s how some of them gave back:

Kefiboo#1 AKA and his crew (including Da LES) helped to dig a Supa Mega garden at a Thusong youth Center in Alex.

#2 Somizi Mhlongo upped his game this year by not only raising 67 suits for Matric dance but also giving away 30 of his own, not forgetting that last year he did the same and ended up with 300 matric dance dresses, so who knows he might end up with another 300 suits or even more. He also teamed up with Minister Nomvula Makonyane and other to clean Juskei River in Alex. Keep up the good work Mr Somizi.

#3 Judith Sephuma contributed her #67 minutes by packaging food for Ten Million kids in need. One box=216 meals. Keep up the good work Judith.

#4 Boity, Tresor and Locnville all took part in Gareth Cliff’s, Cliff Central, where the local stars and the Idols judge broadcasted live from Ikwezi Primary School library in Soweto.  At this event, people donated time and effort to the learning institution. Good work Boity and the team.

#5 The entire Department of sports and Recreation South Africa also did their #67 minutes by visiting the community of Hamanskraal Themba in Tshwane. They did community work and handed out sports equipment to six schools. Thumbs up

#6 “Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD”… the bible says as DJ Zinhle together with Menlyn SA took 67 kids for a lunch date for their #67 minutes. Oh and the lunch was more than 67minutes. Well done Zinhle.

Few international celebrities didn’t want to be left out for Mandela day and here’s what they did:

#9 The billionaire philanthropist and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates delivered the 14th Annual Mandela Lecture in Mamelodi the past Sunday. He mentioned that Africa needs to achieve more, faster, and ensure everybody benefits as people tackle unemployment, malnutrition, and health issues. To achieve this, he emphasized the role of young people in finding new solutions. “We are the human beings who must take action, and we have to decide now, because this unique moment won’t last forever. We must clear away the obstacles that are standing in young people’s way so they can seize all of their potential,” said Gates, speaking at the University of Pretoria’s Mamelodi campus.

And Canadian music superstar Drake was thronged by fans as he visited the Nelson Mandela Foundation in Houghton on Monday evening. DRAKE arrived at the center where Minister in the Presidency Jeff Radebe and Mandela family members gave him a tour of the center as he also lead a short discussion with the youth.

Wrapping it all up:

The Metro FM and SABC  Foundation commemorated Nelson  Mandela  International  Day  in  partnership  with  Bikers  for  Mandela,  an initiative  that  included bikers,  celebrities  and  corporate partners  Don  Helmets who took part  in  the seven  annual  Bikers  for  Mandela  Day  campaign, (14-18  July 2016). The trip was from Johannesburg to Mozambique.                                           Not excluding all the SABC radio stations that also took part and did numerous activities for our communities.

They did remarkable work and we are so proud of them. For now we shall remain in hope that the whole nation will remember to #MAKE EVERYDAY A MANDELA DAY…

The Magic in Bettel Watches

The couple team created the brand after a pilgrimage from Indonesia. The timepieces are not only environmentally responsible but have the added bonus of style. Stuart, an engineer by day, has developed a durable product, tried and tested. This precision hand-crafted technology is balanced by the interchangeable straps for the more fashion-conscious consumers.

The smooth leather and wooden texture combination is comparable to that of the Swan’s themselves, representing their own harmony.

Casper raps up “Sway in the morning”

So the guy who brought 20 000 people to the Dome, has numerous accolades behind him now has done it again. Cassper Nyovest was the first South African Rapper to make an appearance in the radio station SiruisXM’s Sway in the morning this week.
He is currently in the States for the BET awards, where he is nominated in the Best International Act: Africa category.
He announced that he will be performing on the hit station. Some instagramers of course went of on a tangent with negative views on Casspers’ rhyming skills.

Casspers-Sway-In-The-Morning-Appearence

Subsequently after the interview he has received positive feedback from American twitter (SA are you hating on your artists?)

Either way, see the interview for yourself…

It’s a wonder what is next for the “Doc Shebeleza” star.
